Mark Wedge Redwood Falls,  MN Mobile A/C I have had the new FirstGear Venture AT jacket about a month and have put 2K miles on with it. It fits true to size, seems well constructed and has great ventilation! The rain coat that comes with stows in the back of the jacket and is out of the way. It does have some weight to it so I have been packing mine off the jacket, but close at hand. This does seem to make the jacket much more comfortable. Having the rain coat as an outer shell works well. If you ride through a storm, your main jacket stays nice, dry and cool after the storm and humidity that comes with it. If you are riding on a cooler or windy day, put the rain coat on first (wind block) and put the jacket on over the top. You will have no rain coat ballooning and no wind on your skin. For summer riding, I love this jacket and my BMG has been hanging in the closet.

Ronny Webster,  TX Not bad The jacket fits nicely but the armor in the shoulders and elbows tend to move around a lot when trying to put it on but settle once in place. Well ventilated for warmer climates but too well ventilated for riding in cooler weather. I have yet to use the rain jacket (shell) but nice to know its there. Not bad for the price only other thing is the size chart is very accurate so get your size for a perfect snug fit or up one size for extra room.
